Welcome!

My name is Grant Edward Mathias, and I am the personal chef and owner of Gem Kitchen in Cleveland. Ever since I was a child, I have had a passion for food and cooking. This love was fostered by my mother who taught me valuable lessons in cooking and an appreciation of good food. I have traveled to Peru, Italy, Greece, France, England, Scotland, Israel, Canada, and across America to taste incredible food and learn new dishes and techniques.

After over 20 years of cooking, hosting private dinners, and traveling the world, I wanted to share my knowledge and love of food with others.
